The motors that we originally used through the other lab reports, was not performing in the same way according to the test, which concludes what we suspected. When conducting the test, the motors have to stay flat all the time for performing at the same rate - if not - one will kick up as seen in the video.

## Lego Car - Using Light Sensors

In the process of choosing a design for our Lego car, we had different aspects in mind from previous experiments. One of them was that we wanted a Lego car that was not to wide and could perform small turns. We further wanted take account for the placement of the sensor when going from a ramp and down- or uphill. Here it is beneficial to have the almost same distance from the sensors and to the ground all the time. In that way it is easier to calibrate the variables in the program running.

One solution to avoid different distances (to some extent) when driving on the Alishan track was to place the the sensors in alignment to the wheels, which can be seen in picture 2 below. This results in a general distance to the ground when driving from a plateau and up- and downhill.
