The telephone plays a sine tone at 50 percent volume. We then moved the sound source 5, 10, 15, 20 and 30 cm away from the sound sensor. The peaks illustrates the process of going from one distance to another.

The peaks in our data originates from our voices. Every time we made a measurement we said the distance we are measured from out loud. The peculiar thing about the peaks is that, even though we use a normal talking voice and moved with the phone, the sensor seem to be more respondent to our voices then to the sinus tone played from the phone. moreover it seems like, when talking down to the microphone the angle we talk have an impact on the measurement. This is hard to say because we don’t know if the actually spoke with the same loudness every time.
